“BACK TO THE CENTRE” is the fourth large project being designed, managed and organised by the 7MML Association. Their previous projects date back to 2009, 2012 and 2014/2015. In some way, they are all linked to solidarity and the donations given to the twinned charities. The core soul of these initiatives is the photographer and president Giuliano Radici.
On this occasion, the beneficiary is a school/workshop which is due to be built in Kannur with funds collected throughout the planned project. At its heart will be the Centre Jyothi Nilaya located in Mysore, India, which is run by Ursuline nuns from S. Girolamo Somasca. The land acquired by the Cultural Association 7milamiglialontano will be signed over free-of-charge to the Centre as will the school/workshop which is to be built.
The conceptual design has been assigned to a relevant workshop amongst the two-year students specializing in “Interior and Urban Design” from Accademia Santa Giulia in Brescia.
To ensure the smooth running of the school/workshop, the 7MML Association will cater for the constant need for funding by ensuring it is maintained and the Onlus association Jyothi Nilaya, will handle local professors and staff.
