Travellers: Ivana Colakovska (Skopje · MACEDONIA · 1985) – Manu Torres (Sevilla · SPAIN · 1982)
Motorcycle: Yamaha Tenere XT660Z model 2012
Before beginning this adventure Manu and Ivana lived selling in summer, on the Greek island of Mikonos, bracelets and necklaces made of stones bought during their winter trips in South-East Asia. The change of direction happens with Around GAIA. The project is ambitious and regardless of the great determination they’ve shown, the challenges overcome with great lucidity, preferring a tent or hut to hotels and crossing continents without the help of maps or GPS, it cannot be done with the sole support of necklace sales. Along the road the couple senses that sharing their experiences derived from this unconventional way of travelling could help cover expenses. So they decide to buy a good-quality camera and a laptop and start studying the art of communication. Four year after their departure, bike adventure enthusiasts start learning of their existence.
